An investigation was conducted into allegations that Jason Wooland, a member of the Port Hope Police Service Board, engaged in conduct that placed his duties as a board member in conflict with his private employment interests. After reviewing the Findings Report, the Inspector General concluded that Mr. Wooland committed misconduct under the Code of Conduct for Police Service Board Members.
Outcome: Misconduct found; six-month suspension without pay imposed for breaches of sections 21(a) and 22 of the Code of Conduct for Police Service Board Members.
