An investigation was conducted into a complaint alleging that the Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) failed to adequately respond to repeated reports of harassment made by the complainant. The Inspector General found that the TBPS appropriately investigated the complainant's allegations, responded to and documented each subsequent report, and provided a reasonable policing response throughout, despite no new evidence of harassment emerging after the initial complaint.
