Monitoring

Current Monitoring Work

The Inspector General routinely monitors police services, police service boards, and organizations that employ special constables to ensure they comply with Ontario’s policing laws and uphold the highest standards. The goal is to identify and address emerging or substantial issues so that policing and police governance across the province remains high-performing respectful and responsive to the communities they serve.

This page is updated regularly to reflect the services and boards currently under review by the Inspector General.
